Bulgaria is the first country in Eastern Europe to host the prestigious event
The latest global trends in the diagnostics and treatment of breast carcinoma will be presented and discussed during the licensed review symposium Best of SABCS® 2025 Bulgaria. Its the second edition will be held on February 13 and 14, 2026 at the Millennium Hotel in Sofia. The organizer is the Bulgarian Joint Cancer Network (BJCN).

“For the second time, BJCN is bringing the essence of the most prestigious global forum for breast cancer clinical management in across the Atlantic – San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium 2025. Bulgarian experts will present, discuss and formulate guidelines for changes in practice the cutting-edge concepts and results of evidence-based oncology,” states Assoc. Prof. Assia Konsoulova, Chair of the Organizing Committee and BJCN.
Specialists and residents of all specialties in clinical oncology are invited – medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, clinical pathologists, genetics, imaging diagnostic, nuclear medicine specialists, clinical laboratory specialists, etc. The forum is an official part of the global medical training program Encore Medical Education, setting the “gold standards” for medical care in the world since 2011. Bulgaria is the first country in Eastern Europe to be included in the network. Thus, BJCN continues to embed our national system into the elite family of global oncology. The lecturers are mainly young specialists, and each presentation will be discussed in GRADE format.
Among the main topics of the symposium are:
· Specificities and considerations for improving care and outcomes in oncology patient communities
· Advances in the evaluation and treatment of breast cancer subtypes and the identification of the most appropriate therapeutic strategies
· Risk-adapted management strategies for optimizing clinical practice, improving adherence to therapies, and enhancing treatment effectiveness.
· Advances and evidence in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
· Integration of new evidence from clinical trials into clinical practice.
